Freely Give This Season
Yahweh Collective Encourages You to “Speak Loud” at GoBU
I just came back from a much needed short family break, its great to pour yourself into your others and give them you! This experience really got us thinking. With the 2019 lent season upon us we would like to do something truly unique during the same period. The ToneCrafters label believe that we are called by the Creator to create for the community, that responsibility is a big deal for us, so in today’s blog we are giving away free music. These songs are currently available on all platforms, so they are still of value, however, we are freely giving away the songs below to inspire you to give away a piece of yourself to whomever you want with no strings attached! Sound like a good idea?
Keeso sees light after a shot in the dark
Same night, same theme, different set. Yahweh Collective took to the same stage as with fellow label mate Chans Thomas to provide song responding to social justice for GoBU’s thematic Creative Liturgy event.
Personally I couldn’t believe Keeso was in the front on his feet after being shot at work just 4 weeks ago! Read that story here.
YC want you to know that this song is an answer to pain and frustration often found at the epicenter of the subject. True hope can be found even at the eye of any storm, the gospel provides sufficient answers that unifies. They believe that you will find true harmony in community if we speak up for peace instead of being silent with indifference.
I recently sat down with Keeso, 1/3 of the Yahweh Collective trio to talk about an incident that had recently happened to him, his story initially had me paralyzed with shock, and then captivated with the powerful message of what the power of peace did for him, what it can do for you.
