Brass, Soul, and SpottieOttie Magic at the SafeHouse

Today’s session at A SafeHouse Studio felt like one of those effortless moments where music decides to lead the room.

Prince Wxlliam (trumpet) and Vince Greer (sax) rolled in to warm up for a full six-song writing and arranging session—and before we even touched the whiteboard, the horns started speaking. Within minutes, we were catching a little lightning in a bottle: a raw, unplanned brass cover of OutKast’s SpottieOttieDopalicious. Soulful, loose, and exactly the kind of vibe that reminds me why I love working with artists like these.

You can watch that warmup moment below.

And while we’re here—special shoutout to Vince Greer, who steps onto the field at NRG Stadium tonight to perform the National Anthem for the Houston Texans at 7:15pm CST. Couldn’t be prouder to see one of our SafeHouse family take center stage like that.

More music. More discovery. More moments like these.
